Why Busted High Heels?

This blog is dedicated to thoughts inspired by Korean drama, otherwise known as K-drama to you junkies out there. The blog title Busted High Heels simply refers to the fact that I have seen a lot of busted high heels on K-dramas. It appears that women in South Korea love to wear high heels--at least, that's what the shows I've watched seem to suggest. I'm sure that many of these women longed for a good piggyback ride at some point, to give their poor feet a rest.

I cannot state strongly enough how much I adore Korean dramas. It all started for me with Jewel in the Palace, also known as Dae Jang Geum. Then, I moved to Full House, followed by Boys Before Flowers and My Lovely Sam Soon. Then, I branched out from there.

I know you're all wondering about other names I considered for my blog. Here are a few:
  • Noodle Slurps
  • Give Me a Piggyback Ride
  • Sharing an Earbud (and a Little Earwax)
  • Let's Break Up (in Several Agonizing Steps)
  • Couple Rings and Matching Shirts
  • Please Take Care of Me (or: Show Me the Ropes)
  • My Future Mother-in-Law Poured Water on My Head Today at Lunch
  • Taking Cell Phones Calls No Matter Where You Are (to Keep the Plot Moving)
